- File manager WordPress Sites
- Files Bar
- account manager login
- cPanel Service Bars
Let’s look around in the services that Sharmela is using, by logging in Hostmonsters’ cPanel services as the Account Manager.

account manager login
After Hostmonster verifies that the login is valid, the cPanel (Control Panel) opens up. These cPanel service bars are in the main work area, and by clicking on the little down tab displayed on the files bar, the programs that allows you to work with your directories, sub-directories, and files will appear like an accordion opening up.
Fortunately, only the file manager holds our interest, we will use FireFox browser add on’s to provide more usable file management services. Note that when the Files bar opens the little down tab has changed to a little up tab. Clicking on it will close the Files. Also, The work area becomes very cluttered if all of the tabs are pressed for open and none of them are closed. You noticed that I closed all of them before starting this discussion.

File manager WordPress Sites
By clicking on the little plus sign in front of the public_html folder, the yogine directories started to open up. After selectively clicking, we see the current directory addresses of blog, Football-Leagues, … and tshirts. These directories have been created by Sharmela, as she was led by curiosity. This same evidence is found in my directories after mucking around, trying to resolve problems. Yes, a test web site is essential to reduce the problems on your live site.
IMHO (In my humble opinion), use the file manager for observation purposes only. Getting in a ‘mell of a hess’ is easy.
We will use FireFTP, an add on service to our FireFox browser, to manage and update our Hostmonsters’ directories and domains.
We have discovered, that yogine.org appears to have 5 active WordPress web sites. To prove this we enter the url’s into our browser, and determine if the sites are currently active.
Previously, I entered the yogine.org url into my browser, but I was unable to determine how to help her with web site development and search engine optimization. We now have more pieces of the puzzle to work with but the solutions are obscure.
